Flexel's ELSR Self Regulating 230v heating cables offer a practical and cost-effective solution for preventing water pipes from freezing.

These cables are suitable for use on both metal and plastic pipes, making them versatile for various applications.

Where would you typically install ELSR Pipe Freeze Protection?

To safeguard pipes from freezing, the ELSR cables can be easily secured along the bottom of the pipe using our PFP tape.

For plastic pipes, it is advisable to use our aluminium foil tape, as it enhances heat dispersion. To ensure optimum protection, it is recommended to insulate trace heated pipes.

Common uses include protecting boiler condensate pipes, exposed water pipes in residential settings, farm buildings, stables, garages, lofts, and many other scenarios where pipe freeze protection is necessary.

The Kits Contain:

• Fixed length ELSR Cable (2m, 3m, 4m, 6m, 10m, 14m, 21m, 30m, 42m)
• Roll(s) of PFP Fixing Tape (33m x 18mm)
• Roll(s) of Aluminium Tape (45m x 50mm)
• Connection and Termination Kit

Features and Benefits.

The trace heating cables are designed to eliminate dangerous hot spots, even when cables are in contact or overlapping.

The two power outputs available within the range can be utilized on pipes with diameters ranging from 15mm to 150mm.  This ensures efficient and safe freeze protection for a wide range of pipe sizes.

For each circuit, a connection kit utilizing crimps and heat shrink insulation (kit 4) will be necessary. This kit contains all the essential components to establish a cold tail connection to the trace cable and seal the end, guaranteeing a reliable and efficient solution for pipe freeze protection.
